Maria Morrison, an Anishinaabe band member of Mishkosiminiziibiing (Big Grassy River) First Nation in Treaty 3 territory, resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She leverages her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from Royal Roads University to develop and coordinate NIUSLA’s growth. With over 25 years of experience in project management, administration, and community engagement, Maria is deeply committed to fostering inclusive and supportive Indigenous educational environments.
